Planting at the Lozenge

We planted 2,750 trees, with the help of the Royal Logistics Corps, Green Task Force and many local volunteers. Thanks to the Queen’s Representative, Lord-Lieutenant for the East Riding of Yorkshire, Mr Jim Dick OBE, for joining to celebrate this planting as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy. Councillor Hester Bridges, Hull City Council’s deputy leader and ward member for Southcoates Ward, gave a speech along with Rory Field, Director of Corporate Partnerships at Trees for Cities. Thanks also to Amanda White from BBC Radio Humberside for adding to the fun!

Go and visit the site in East Hull…just near Rosmead Park.

With sincere thanks to our funding partners, Hull City Council Howdens, and Trees for Cities.

Delivery through volunteers, 25 Royal Logistics Corps, The Green Task Force and Plant a Tree Today Foundation.
